Meet Our Team

Miguel has been in the Veterinary industry for more than 25 years, he loves playing his guitar and most of all dancing with his wife. We would be lost without him.

Sam Joined our team in 2010; he is one of our lead techs and also certified in ultrasounding. He has had a life time of loving animals and feels he is exactly where he is suppose to be. His heart is as big as he is.

Alex joined our team in 2008 after graduating from International Business College as a Pharmacy Technician. She has been a great asset to Crossroads, as we would be lost without her. In her off time she loves gardening and spending time with her family.

Clara is one of our best dental technicians, she loves to surround herself with animals. She admires their loyalty, passion and love. She also has a passion for traveling and trying out different cuisines.

In 2018 Yahaira received her Veterinary assistant certification from PIMA Medical Institute. She is one of our youngest and hardest working technicians. She is living her dream working with animals.

Gaby has been working in the Veterinarian field with animals for more than 15 years. Joining our team in 2017 we find that she not only has a love for animals but she is very passionate about saving the the earth. She is evironmental friendly; and please do not use a straw around her!

Walter is a Veterinary Technician by day and a DJ by night. Saving animals and enjoying music is his love in life. His degree plan says 'Math education' so we have a future math teacher in our hands.

Nazlyn is a native El Pasoan and a graduate from El Paso Community College. She is currently pursuing her bachelors in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Texas at El Paso. In 2018, Nazlyn received her Veterinary assistant certification from Pima Medical Institute. She enjoys traveling, horseback riding, and plans to apply to Vet school in the near future.

Daniel joined our team in 2018; he loves his job and is always willing to spend that extra time with all of his furry patients. He has a very caring heart for animals and people alike as he always carries around a smile with a twist of sense of humor to brighten your day.

'I think the next best thing to solving a problem is finding some humor in it'

Michelle was born and raised in El Paso. She graduated from PIMA Vet Tech Program in 2019. She loves spending her free times with her three dogs. She loves all animals but is obsessed with Pekingese.

Luis

Stephanie Hernandez is a native El Pasoan and will be graduating from NMSU with her bachelor's degree in animal science.  Her goal is to be a veterinarian and work with small and large animals, especially horses and cows. Stephanies passion comes from helping animals and has been a terrific addition to the Crossroads family.

'It will all make sense one day..... and bring the biggest joy.'

Marisol is attending Penn Foster working toward a Bachelor of Veterinary Technology degree. During her time off Marisol enjoys gardening, cooking and taking time to travel. 

Is currently attending Vet School.

Christine has had a love for animals since she was little. She's one of our youngest technicians, and is currently balancing her work at Crossroads and full time courses at UTEP studying to become a Veterinarian in the future. She enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her two big Rottweilers.

Jorge is a native of El Paso. He is currently in the process of obtaining his DVM equivalency degree & license in the United States, after graduating from veterinary school in Mexico. His specialty is with felines and aspires to become n Orthopedic surgeon after becoming licensed in the States. When he is not working in the veterinary clinic, he loves riding his motorcycle, weightlifting, and video games.

Diego is a huge animal lover who has been volunteering at the El Paso Zoo as an animal handler for the past five years. His goal is to become a Zoological Veterinarian, as well as travel the world, experience different cultures and take part in many adventures.

Janet joined our team in 2014. What she loves most about her job is helping our clients and seeing all the different animlas that come through Crossroads everyday. Her favorite thing to do is spend time with her family.

Dyana joined our team back in 2005. She loves working at Crossroads because of our wonderful clients and seeing all the different animals that come through here everyday. She has so much love for animals and is a foster for 'From the Heart'. However her pride and joy would be her son Adrian.

Vanessa joined our team in 2022. What she loves most about working at Crossroads is all the animals she gets to see and meet. She enjoys watching the Yankees and Arts n Crafts.

Monica came to Crossroads in 2017 after Anthony Clinic closed, where she worked at for 17 years. Their loss was our gain as we love having her on our team. What she loves most about Crossroads is she says there's never a dull moment. This past year she adopted a boxer named Cooper after fostering him for 'From the Heart Rescue'. She loves spoiling him, along with her husband and daughter.

Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life'

Enid began her technician career in 2001 at the Animal Emergency Center. She came to Crossroads in 2008. She believes that working with animals is therapeutic to the soul and that is what she loves most about her job. Enid is also one of our best dental technicians and also helps in the front as a receptionist.
